Worried about Tom
Please pray for our son Tom.  For various reasons his meds are way out of whack; he's been attacking people, breaking things, and throwing furniture.  The group home has told me that they are moving him to a crisis center, which is one step away from the psych ward.

I think a lot of this has to do with puberty and can probably be sorted out, but right now it must be very difficult to be Tom or anybody who has to work with him; I pray they get it figured out quickly.

For as long as I have known you I have had absolute respect for the way in which you deal with your son Tom (and hardly "unrespect" for the way in which you deal with James). Unfortunately, as somebody who just plain has not been there, I have no clues whatever as to what is happening. So the quick answer is, yes, this is a time for prayer. Let us hope that the crisis center has more ideas what to do with him than the group home did. And although it may also be seen as a step away from the psych ward, the crisis center is also a place with its own reasons for existing and its own merit; this may be the best thing for him, no matter what it looks like.

OH, no! I'm sorry to hear this. I have sent up a little prayer to my favorite saint and her bud Jesus and I shall continue to with my regular prayers, and whenever I think of it.

It's sad and scary to have a kid who breaks things and attacks people, and triply so, I imagine, when he's big enough to actually hurt people.

I will pray very hard indeed that he doesn't have to go the psych ward.

Keep your faith, keep believing in the people who are caring for him, meanwhile hugs and best of blessings for your son to get through this with minimal emotional and physical pain to all.

I imagine Tom has to be feeling really frightened and overwhelmed right now. I'll pray that he connects with the right resources and is able to feel secure and comfortable again soon.
