Yesterday, today, and Tom
Yesterday we went to church, then poor G had to go to work and I went to Ramble.  Our group worked well together and had a lot of fun.  We closed at 4:00 and packed out very efficiently under our gallant Captain's orders.  Afterwards, G was *still* stuck at work and I went to visit Tom on my own.

Tom was watching his tape and all happy, but it was getting fuzzy from being watched in the same place over and over, and once he got really frustrated with that.  Still and all, he did OK, and I left when his supper  came.  I was anxious about him again, though,and slept very badly.

Today G and I slept in.  We found a tape head cleaner to bring to the hospital and bought T a lot of new treats because he'd eaten all the others, then we went to see him.  We found him playing happily with his staff; we cleaned the tape deck, which was very difficult because G had to restrain him so I could work, and Tom is getting stronger . . . the head cleaner really helped, though, and then we left the cupboard open so Tom could play his tape over and over.  He's still getting calmer and happier (having a lot of sleep last night helped, too; he'd been really tired.)

So, we're developing something of a routine around this, until the situation changes.  I think I need a nap.
